Serpentine Tunnel

Serpentine Cooling Tunnels are the ideal solution to cool down containers in a stand-alone equipment using a serpentine accumulating table where containers are moving in a zigzag pattern. Cooling Tunnel is designed according to the speed of the line and the residence time required to descend the temperature in the predefined time.

One single supplier with a large and proven experience capable to manufacture filling, capping, cooling, puck inserting and depucking machines.


MAIN FEATURES

HIGH PERFORMANCE DESIGN

Frame structure made of 100x100mm square pipe in AISI-304 Stainless Steel, light fixture and clear guardings to facilitate visual inspection inside of the frame.

CONTAINER LOAD

Servodriven mechanism by means of a timing screw that distributes the container at a constant pitch to facilitate the air flow inside of the tunnel.

COOLING TECHNOLOGY

Progressive decrease of the temperature is controlled to avoid the risk of thermic shock and the consequent risk of crystallization and product surface crack.

SERPENTINE TUNNEL

One or Two Level Frame

Serpentine Cooling Tunnels can be designed using different cooling levels, with different cooling areas for each different level. The second level allows to reduce the footprint of the cooling tunnel a 50% of the initial surface.
