A fully automated Monoblock line for filling, capping, and overcapping at 100 u.p.m.
The line includes:
- Magnetic flowmeter-based filling using SmartFlow technology for stable flow.
- Low Reynolds Number Filling Heads designed to prevent foaming, essential for highly foamy products.
- 360º washing tray for efficient CIP cleaning.
- Three integrated carousels: filling, capping, and overcapping.
The Challenge
This project required handling one of the most foamy products on the market while achieving precise filling without contamination. Additionally, the line had to apply both screw caps and overcaps, managing multiple steps seamlessly in a compact design.
How did Mengibar solve it?
Mengibar implemented its SmartFlow technology, ensuring stable flow and accurate dosing for the foamy product. The Low Reynolds Number Filling Heads minimized foam generation, allowing for precise filling without spillage or contamination. A 360º wash tray ensured complete cleaning during product changeovers.
The Monoblock design integrates three carousels: filling, screw capping, and overcapping, handling all steps in a single compact system. This configuration enables seamless production at high efficiency while reducing downtime between format changes.
